Crossroads of Western Iowa just had our CARF accreditation renewed for three more years! We have been CARF certified since 1983.
The accreditation is an excellent way to show we are committed to providing the best quality services and are always striving for improvement.
CARF, an independent nonprofit, accredits organizations within health and human services, like Crossroads. They evaluate organizations using set standards for their business practices and the services they provide.
The CARF team who visited our facilities back in November wrote a report covering their time spent with Crossroads; in it, they highlighted our passion for what we do and our commitment to person-centered practices, leading to satisfied clients. Our knowledgeable team, forward thinking leadership, and excellent service provided by staff all left an impression on the survey team. Everything we do is for the good of the clients and we are so happy that came through in our evaluation.
Within the organization itself, the CARF reviewer noted the inspirational aspect of our strategic plan, our strong financial practices, and the excellent benefits, communication, and training we provide to our staff. They noted that our centers are bright, inviting, and clean and the community seems happy with the work we do.
While we continue on with the idea that “everything we do can be done better,” we appreciate all we have accomplished and the strides we are making in service.
