Often times when we think of benefits from an employer, things like PTO and health insurance come to mind. Did you know that one of the benefits you receive from Crossroads includes Tuition
Reimbursement? If you are currently in school, or interested in returning, Crossroads could reimburse you up to 50% of qualified expenses toward the cost of education that directly benefits your employment role, or any role you can reasonably advance to within the Company. Up to a maximum of $4,000 per employee per year. Wow! Think of the money we could all save if we took advantage of this benefit.
In addition, you could also be reimbursed for books at the rate of $250 per semester, up to a maximum of $500 per year for approved courses.
Why does Crossroads offer this benefit you ask? Because it believes in making an investment in its employees. By offering a motivating factor like Tuition Reimbursement for continuing education, it’s more likely that an employee will perform better and more efficiently. At Crossroads, we’re all about giving you the tools and resources needed to effectively perform your job.
“I work full-time at Crossroads and take college classes. My school tuition is expensive. The Tuition Reimbursement program at Crossroads has been a motivator to push through school. It’s a reward to keep going,” said Jamie Huff, residential coordinator in Council Bluffs. “It’s nice to work for an organization that encourages its employees to get an education.”
For more information, check out the Employee Handbook in eDatis. According to Jamie, “The application process to qualify was easy. I contacted Jackie in HR, completed an eligibility form, and returned it back to her. That was it! She followed up with me soon after to inform me that I was eligible.”
