At Crossroads, our Supported Employment Services focus on discovering a person’s interest, developing career goals and identifying a job that fits their needs. Other areas of emphasis include job placement, interview assistance and self-care. Once an individual secures employment, we provide on-the-job support and follow-up services.
Volunteering Leads to Employment (VLE)
VLE provides community-based volunteer opportunities for program clients who are in the process of maintaining employment but are still in need of improving upon and/or acquiring new skills. Individuals can refine their work skills while staying engaged in the community. Volunteering has become a pathway for clients to attain jobs.
What can each person expect from Employment Services?
1. The person is fully supported throughout the process.
2. Crossroads also supports the individual’s employer, ensuring a smooth process.
3. Our Volunteering Leads to Employment program provides community-based volunteer opportunities. Each individual refines their work skills while staying engaged in the community and taking that next step on the pathway to attain a job.
